First I spoke with Lisa, their designer. She was so friendly and full of ideas. But the best part about Lisa was she listened to me and really got to know me so she could help design the house I wanted. Then her and Richard came out to our property and walked the entire house. I couldn't believe they could look at walls of only drywall and have such a vision for our home.
Once it was time to do the finish work, I knew Shannon and his crew would do a great job. It was better than great, it was perfect! The guys tended to the smallest details and even corrected things the other sub-contractors had done wrong. Now that is service! I also appreciated that the crew working on my house was clean cut, in uniforms, and on time. Now that our house is finished I take great pride in showing it to everyone. "Quality Contractors, Inc. did a very extensive remodel of our 5,000 sq. ft. home in Orem from October 2007 – January 2008. Before construction began we had numerous meetings with both the contractor, Richard, and the designer, Lisa, in order to perfect our design. Although we had hired an architect, Richard and Lisa showed much more vision in designing the remodel. There were several awkward areas in the floorplan of the home that QC solved using ingenious solutions. Other ideas by QC have added functionality and symmetry to the home, such as designing a deck off the kitchen to take advantage of views, making the master closet into two closets to improve flow, and changing the shape of several windows and adding gables to significantly enhance curb appeal. Their ideas and design capabilities were extremely satisfactory. Several of our very attentive neighbors remarked that they had never seen such a hard-working crew. Richard was consistently on-site problem solving and attending to the details. Someone was always available to answer questions or make suggestions.They finished everything in a very timely manner.
Lisa is a must-have during a remodel. Hundreds of decisions must be made regarding the design of your home during which time she is there to help you with those decisions. Lisa helped keep our home consistent (New England style), drew up gorgeous elevations and a lighting plan, suggested colors, decorating ideas, and was there to aid in all choices from backsplash type to floor stain color. There is no suggestion or idea by Lisa that I have changed or regretted after living in the home for 8 months now.
